Terms of Service
What Mainframe does, what it never does, what it costs, how to cancel, and what happens if the first week doesn’t come back usable.
Effective September 29, 2026

Mainframe is a household operations web app at app.mainframemom.com. You can use Chat, forward emails, and upload notes, photos, PDFs or calendar files. Mainframe uses AI to organize that information into your Household Brain, events, preparation tasks, Needs You decisions and a Weekly Brief. When you turn them on, Mainframe also keeps a chore and upkeep rotation for your house, plans meals and builds grocery lists, tracks bills and renewals you forward, remembers birthdays and gifts, and times reminders for children’s routine checkups. Jessica operates the service and may review information to provide support and check quality. A person does not review every AI result before you see it.
Mainframe lists, schedules, assigns and asks. It does not buy groceries, pay bills, book appointments, or send messages outside your household. AI can miss information or get it wrong. Review dates, people and important commitments against the original source. Mainframe does not provide medical, dietary, legal, financial or custody advice, and is not an emergency or safety monitoring service.
Meal plans read the food preferences and allergies you enter, and every plan is checked against that list before it reaches you. You still check the plate. Mainframe does not warrant that any plan, recipe or grocery list is free of a particular ingredient or allergen; recipes and product contents change and the final check is yours.
The founding subscription is $29 USD per month or $290 USD per year, with the Install included and no setup fee. A monthly subscription renews automatically each month at $29 and an annual subscription renews automatically each year at $290, until canceled. Annual founders also receive The Household Staff kit as a download and one gift month they can give to one other household during the founding window; both are bonuses, not separately purchased products, and carry no cash value.
The price is locked while your founding subscription remains continuously active. If you cancel and return, the price available at that time applies. Founding enrollment is limited to 20 paid households and closes 60 days after founding checkout opens, unless it fills earlier. The opening date and the close date are shown on the checkout page.
Stripe handles payment details. Applicable taxes, if any, are disclosed at checkout. You see the recurring price and billing terms before agreeing to pay. Plans offered after the founding window, at whatever price is then shown on the checkout page, do not change an active founding subscription’s price.
Cancel through the billing controls in your app Profile, reply CANCEL to a Mainframe household email, or email hello@mainframemom.com. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Access continues through the paid period. There is no cancellation fee or minimum term. If you do not receive confirmation, contact us so we can check the request.
Finish onboarding and hand Mainframe your week. If it doesn’t come back as a usable seven-day plan, with dates extracted, people assigned, conflicts flagged, and the Three That Matter named, tell us within seven days of receiving your first Weekly Brief and your first month is refunded: the $29 monthly payment, or $29 of an annual payment (the annual subscription then continues at the remaining balance unless you also cancel, in which case the unused months are refunded in full). Email hello@mainframemom.com or reply REFUND to a Mainframe email and say what was missing. We aim to respond within two business days.
This guarantee does not promise that another adult will finish a task or that an outside purchase, booking, signature or message will happen. Later monthly payments are not prorated, except where required by law. This policy does not limit your statutory rights.
You must be at least 18. Share only information you are authorized to provide. Give accurate household details and keep sign-in links private. Children do not receive accounts. Each adult controls their own messaging consent.
Needs You choices describe changes inside Mainframe. Approving a buying or follow-up task creates work for the named adult; it does not buy the item, send an outside message, sign a document or book an appointment. You may authorize routine imports in your Household Brain rules. Mainframe does not independently spend money, sign or submit forms, contact people outside your household on your behalf, or change a significant commitment.
Email and the web app are the initial delivery channels. Push requires permission on your device. Calendar connections are optional and require authorization from your provider. The inbox connection is a forwarding rule you set in your own email; Mainframe has no access to your email account and cannot turn the rule on or off for you. Text messages become available only when the service is configured and the adult opts in. No separate purchase requires SMS consent. Availability and delivery can depend on third-party services. A grocery list you share goes only to an adult in your own household, at the address or number that adult already gave Mainframe.
The Privacy Policy explains providers, retention and access. You may request deletion in the app or by replying DELETE from your registered primary email. Deletion also requests cancellation of your subscription. Restricted historical records and legally required payment records may remain as explained in the policy.
We may change features and will notify you before a material change to your subscription terms. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or error-free AI output. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and our liability is limited to the fees you paid for the preceding three months. This does not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by email will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you agree to that venue, except where the law of your home state gives you a right to bring a claim there. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you.
If the deal changes, we update this page and the effective date at the top, and we email every active household before a change that affects what you pay or what you get.
